Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Cairo

Arrival and hotel check-in. Explore Al-Muizz Street and the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Dinner at a traditional restaurant, overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 – Journey to Siwa Oasis

Fly to Siwa; check into an eco-lodge and enjoy lunch. Afterwards, set out to explore the enchanting Salt Lakes, for perfect sunset reflections. Enjoy a relaxing break with light snacks by the lake before unwinding in the soothing hot springs. Dinner under the stars.

Day 3 – History & Nature of Siwa

Today we will explore Siwa’s most iconic landmarks — the ancient Shali Fortress, Mount Dakrour, and the legendary Tomb of Alexander the Great. Continue to the tranquil Cleopatra Spring, where you’ll enjoy a refreshing dip before savoring lunch. Spend a leisurely afternoon at Mount Dakrour, soaking in the serene desert atmosphere, then witness another breathtaking sunset.

Day 4 – Exploring Siwa’s Wonders

Begin your day with a visit to a traditional Siwan House, where you’ll discover the rich customs, craftsmanship, and daily life of the local community. Continue with a tranquil Salt Cave relaxation session, a soothing experience that perfectly captures Siwa’s natural serenity. Enjoy lunch before setting off on an exhilarating desert safari, filled with adventure across the sweeping dunes. As night falls, indulge in a memorable dinner in the heart of the Sahara, followed by an enchanting stargazing experience beneath the crystal-clear desert sky.

Day 5 – Goodbye Siwa

Enjoy a final, leisurely breakfast surrounded by the serene beauty of Siwa Oasis. Take a moment to soak in the peaceful atmosphere before transferring to the airport for your chartered flight back to Cairo.

Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing and acknowledged in writing by the company. The date on which the company receive the cancellation request will determine the applicable cancellation fees.

  • 60 days or more a cancellation fees of BHD 250 deposit is non-refundable.
  • 45-59 days 25% of the total package price will be charged
  • 30-44 days 50% of the total package price will be charged
  • Less than 30 days 100% of the total package price will be charged

Day 1: Arrival and the Magic of Al-Hussein and the Pyramids

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you'll be greeted warmly by our representative, who will assist with your visa and luggage. Transfer to the hotel to rest until the afternoon. Begin your Ramadan journey with a magical iftar (breaking fast) at a restaurant overlooking the Pyramids of Giza, where history blends with the flavors of Ramadan. After dinner, head to the Al-Hussein area, where you can perform Taraweeh prayers at the Al-Hussein or Al-Azhar Mosque. Enjoy an evening stroll through the vibrant streets of Islamic Cairo, enjoying traditional cafés and authentic Ramadan vibes. End the day by attending a Sufi performance at venues like Qubbat Al-Ghouri or similar Ramadan events in Cairo.

Day 2: Warm Hospitality and Rural Heritage

Begin the day with a captivating visit to the Pyramids of Giza, marveling at the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization. Continue to a carpet-making school, where you'll learn about traditional craftsmanship and the basics of this ancient art. Proceed to Dahshur, where you'll enjoy a tranquil setting amidst fields and palm trees. Experience a unique cooking session with locals, preparing a traditional rural iftar meal. As the sun sets, share this warm and authentic meal with a hosting family, embracing the hospitality of the countryside. Return to your hotel in the evening and conclude the day with a luxurious suhoor in a Ramadan tent at a famous historical site.

Day 3: Charity, Community, and Traditional Festivities

Start the day by attending Friday prayers at one of Cairo's historic mosques, such as Al-Azhar, Sultan Hassan, or Ibn Tulun, accompanied by a brief history of the surrounding area. After prayers, visit a charity organization to participate in preparing and distributing Ramadan bags, spreading goodwill and kindness. Rest at your hotel, then head to the Matariya district to join an annual communal iftar, where the warmth and generosity of the local community shine through. Lamu island Kenya - Mixed trip

Lamu island is the cultural hub of Swahili heritage, a mix of African, Arab, and Indian descendants. Life is slow here; donkeys and old dhow are the primary means of transport. Lamu Town is Kenya's oldest living town which has been inhabited for over 700 years and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lamu is part of the ancient Arab trade route, and it is believed that the Lamu port, which the original traders established, has existed for at least 1000 years. The white sandy beaches of the Lamu archipelago are believed to be amongst the best in Kenya.

Itinerary

Day 1 - 28 Nov

Upon arrival at JKIA airport in Nairobi, take a flight to Lamu Island at 9:40 AM arriving at 11 AM. Once we arrive, we will check in at our beautiful villa and have lunch. Explore the village for the rest of the day.

Day 2 - 29 Nov

We will attend Lamu cultural festival in Lamu town. We will also go on a walking tour to explore Lamu's old town UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 - 30 Nov

We will start the day with an early sunrise yoga session. After breakfast we will discover our village and visit some of the local shops.

Day 4 - 1 Dec

At 11 am we will visit Shela Women’s Association for a samosa making class and delicious swahili lunch cooked by the ladies. In the afternoon we will enjoy sailing on a traditional dhow at sunset.

Day 5 - 2 Dec Today we will visit Taqwa ruins and learn the history of Lamu. At 4 PM we will attend a fun event by Ubunifu's local chdilren. The children hand made and painted their own outfits for this fashion show. After that we will watch sunset on the sand dunes.

Day 6 - 3 Dec

Day trip to Manda toto for snorkelling opportunity and swimming at an empty beach. We will also have fresh bbq live cooking on the dhow.

Day 7 - 4 Dec Time to say goodbye to the beautiful Lamu island. Our domestic flight will leave at 11:20 AM. It will arrive at JKIA international airport at 2 PM.
